COURSES
Presently, Smt Gopikabai Bhure Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Tumsar is providing graduation course in Arts faculty, i.e., Bachelor of Arts. The institution is also looking forward to open Master course in Arts in subjects like Marathi, Sociology, History, Political Science and Home Economics as soon as the University and the Government approves grant to the same.
Admission Process
Medium of Education:- Marathi
Subjects:-
1). Compulsory Marathi or Hindi (Any One)
2). Compulsory English
3). Any THREE optional subjects from the following:
i). Marathi Literature/ English Literature/ Hindi Literature
ii). Sociology
iii). Political Science
iv). History
v). Economics
vi). Home Economics
Qualifications:
1). For admission in B.A. First Year, the students should have qualifying certificate of the
Higher Secondary School (H.S.C.) or some equivalent course run by the State Education
Board of Maharashtra Government.
2). Or the student should have qualified some other equivalent course approved by RTM
Nagpur University, Nagpur.
3). The students who have qualified two years course of D.Ed. with English method.
4). The students who are opting for B.A. Second or Third year should at least have qualified
the B.A. first year’s exam or should have at least acquired ATKT.
5). For the admission in third year of B.A., it is mandatory to qualify B.A. first year exam
and to attach the certificates of both the first and second years examination along with the
admission form.
Rules:
1). Those who seek admission in college should fill the printed form attached with the
Prospectus in their own handwriting and the signature of the parents should also be
acquired as an approval the rules and regulations of the institution.
2). The forms which do not show all appropriated and truthful information of the
student as per the printed form will not be taken into consideration for the admission.
3). The students who seek for Scholarship or any Concessions should enclose true copy
of Income Certificate with the Admission form, or else the form will not be accepted.
(Mandatory for the First year)
4). No change will be done in the subjects opted for at the time of admission. It is
necessary to choose only those subjects available in the college.
5). Admissions will not be given after the last date of declared by the University.
6). No correspondence will be done for the rejected forms, nor the form or the
certificates will be returned.
